The trip to chilling started when jensen post up the link (http://www.waterfallsofmalaysia.com/state.php?state_id=12Me) at FC club facebook, with the great experiences from the previous trips, we are getting addicted to the nature park in Malaysia. In fact, we are deeply needed to have some refreshment in our busy routine working life, to get along with the mother nature, feel the fresh air and more importantly to having some exercise. Jensen,Maggie and i decide to explore more and more waterfalls in Selangor, whereby we need to find some places which have adventurous trekking and nice views, in short, nature park with nice waterfall !!

The link posted by jensen, the chilling waterfall located at Kuala Kubu Bharu seems awesome and it's meet our consensus as well.They describes this as probably the most beautiful waterfall in Selangor, well, we really cant find any reason to ignore it Without any delays, we had contract each other to having a trip to get there at weekend. Me and jensen decide not to drive on this time and it's suppose FC maggie turns to drive her so called laoya car. Anyway, she said she was drove to genting before by using this car, me and jensen as kind as always pretend to believe although we know that she was lying. :)

Anyway, the things ends up with victim Jensen had to drive his car to KKB , she was success to get away from driving this time. As usual, we reach Jensen's house at 8.30 am, and depart to KKB at 9.00 am by heading towards Rawang, where we'll be exiting to take the old road to get to Kuala Kubu Bharu. It was a pleasant drive to be passing the Selangor Dam driving on the wide empty road and having the sun rise to greet us with it's warming embrace.

Soon we reached dumpster car park and gate to the fish sanctuary, this is the point were we parked our car. A short 15 minutes walk from the car we arrive at the fishery department building to register ourselves.Along the road, the sound of water splashing getting louder, we just cant wait to meet this waterfall. Everything seems running smooth for us, yeah, it was a good day indeed!

After the registration, we start our journey to finding the main stream of the waterfall. So we hiked, passing through a path between the bushes in to the jungle. Nevertheless, we are being overconfident in which we are heading to the wrong path, for some reason we are now on a path I don't know of, a path far from the river ( this is the nightmare begins !!). With the hot sunshine, we decided to continues the wrong path, passing thru the jungles and hike like mad to cross the small hills and finally we give up and decided to head back to way we start.

Exhausted, tired, sun burn , thirsty, these are the words clearly reflect our status when heading back, we start to blame each other to choosing the wrong path..haha. At the same time , we were fell down several times in the jungle due to we are wearing sandals to hiking. Guys, your miss the greatest ever superman show performed by Jensen!!! In which he fell down from the uphills like a superman,haha.A giant rock roll down from the hill. Finally, we get back the right way by asking right ppl.

All of us had exhausted !!

Finally found the right track

We have cross several rivers and trails and finally got to the upstream. The scene was awesome, as expected, we saw the giant waterfall. at up stream. We are all stare at the waterfall and amaze of it. Yeah, no doubt, this is the most beautiful waterfall i've been so far. All the tiredness, hungry and injured were paid off when reached here. As advise, the depth of the waterfall quite deep, it's bout 8 feets, anyone who don't know swim pls beware of it. We are got into the water. feel the coolest, and enjoy this greatest gift by mother nature.

After that, we headed back down hill to town. As according by Jensen, there is 1 more attractive place to visit which is Kolam panas Tamu. Everytimes i go to the hot spring, just curious where is the source. This hot spring is even hotter than hot spring nearby Sungai Congkak, i think should be 45-50 0C , our legs were just getting boiled there. Anyway, this place nice to visit and good especially for your health.

We headed back around 4pm, the chilling falls worth to be visit after all although we had cross a lot of rivers and trails ,and using wrong pathway as well, but still, feeling great when reached there, we do enjoy the process to get to the up stream and more importantly, we had learn a lesson, whatever things we do, in order to success we must work hard.Have a great day!

Hot Spring

Trip to Hat Yai and Songkhla

6 FC members is having 3 days 2 night trip to Hat Yai and Songkhla.

This is the most beginning of ours FC legend. In the picture we can know who is the most FC in our clubs.
In the first day, we take the delicious Chicken rice in Hat Yai which is recommend by our FC Founder - FC Fai. See below pic.

Than we start our journey to explore Hat Yai. =)

First Station:

Khao Nam Khang Tunnel

The Tunnel was operated by Communist insurgents. after almost 40 years of fighting with the Thai Government, the Communist Party was dispersed and became part of Thai Development Participants in 1987.

Thailand largest and longest man-made tunnel, it was completed in two years with three separate corridors and three levels deep. The tunnel itself could accommodate about 200 persons with several rooms such as conference room, sic bay, radio transmission room, kithcen and firing range, etc. A place must go if not, no consider

been Hat Yai before. Historical place, scary tunnel, should have a look how communist live in the tunnel, how they stay. Great experience.

Second Station:
Glass temple

A very special place which the temple wall is made with difference kind of glass bottle. But somehow we did'n manage to know the history part of the glass temple . ==" Besides that, this place only have glass bottle, will spend only around 15 min to tour around, but come to this place already spend more than hours. Not really worth is you are in short trip.

After visiting 2 interesting place than we head for our lunch, and than visit a temple, souvenir place, bird nest place than check in

Hat Yai Central Hotel

This hotel not bad, quite clean and comfortable, walk distance to Lee Garden street which got lot market. one day rate is 110 baht.

After that is our night life .. wooooW

At first we go for Lee Garden area to take our dinner and shopping a while. The Street is having lot of difference kind yummy local food and cheap cloth, shop and some souvenir.

Mango with some coconut milk rice. Perfect Match, tasty but a bit sweet. Recommend. must try.

And some of kuih, very sweet..but good to try local food. :p

Finally, is ours entertainment time. Basically, in Thailand having 3 kind of show which is Sexy show, Thai Girl show, and Ah gua show. The first 2 i don't describe more since we decide to watch Ah gua show. (More information about the other 2 can always contact FC Fai for detail, since his is expert in the field).

"Ah Gua" meaning a man acting like a woman. To certain extend, it could mean transvestite. They performance in difference kind of language which is thai, chinese and English.

After show finish, continue shopping a while in Market around Lee Garden, than head back for rest.

More interesting thing is waiting for us.

2nd day in Hat Yai, early morning around 8 am we wake up to take the local breakfast at Hat Yai pasar pagi. Here is some foods we eat. yum yum.

little pineapple (sweet), no name kuih, hao Jian, chu cheong fun, dim sum( Thailand dim sum very cheap, must eat), yao cha kuai, and Corn.

After that we continue our journey to Songkhla

First Station:

Kwan Yin temple

Famous place to visit. Nothing much to describe. We stop here for photo snapping and praying.

Second Station:

Samila Beach

Arrive to Samila Beach, where its the famous of the Golden Mermaid Statue, the famous symbol in Songkhla. Its believe touching the statue will bring good fortune for relationship.

This is the famous ice cream in samila beach, having bread inside, taste is salty. very nice.

3rd Station:

Songkhla Aquarium

This place just a normal aquarium, and i will not recommend your guy going there..

After that, is time to take our local tom yam in Thailand. yeah!!

Four Station:

Stainless steel Tower (temple)
The whole tower is made by stainless steel. see the picture.

Amazing tower. huge and beautiful..

Fifth Station:

The Longer concrete bridge in Songkhla with the length of 2.6 KM

Coincidently pass by.. hehe

Six Station:

Floating Market (Klonghae Floating Market is in Tambon Klonghae in Amphoe Hat Yai)

The newest floating market in Hat Yai, Thailand. the small size floating market compare to Bangkok one. We having our dinner over here. Got lot of tasty food. the Stall all float at the river (floating market ma). **Be careful don't fall inside the river when u take your foods.**

My Supper: Mc Thai. The foods must try in Thailand Samurai Pork Burger. delicious, can't find in Malaysia.

Last day in Hat Yai and Songkhla.

After that, we do some shopping than head back to our lovely country Malaysia and warm home.
